Damian was bred & owned by Carolyn Irvine and Nan Wyatt Radford.

Out of our Jesse daughter, outcrossed to Duke, the only male in his litter, Damian was outstanding from the start. Finishing quickly as a puppy, he was an exciting dog to show. He loved the ring, and a great many judges appreciated his quality by awarding him many Breed, Group and BIS wins. Also a Specialty winner, Damian thrilled us all by several Awards of Merit, including one when he was 10 years old.

At his first show in the U.S. Damian went Winners Dog at the DPCA National in Denver under May Jacobsen, handled by Hugh Middleditch. He finished his U.S. title quickly on his return the following spring with Pam DeHetre.

Damian sired several Champions who were Breed, Group and BIS winners. His best contribution as a sire came when bred to his granddaughter "Ch Mainwynd's Wind Chime". This breeding produced Ch. Royolyn Winds of War, who in turn sired Ch. Royolyns Ice Wine who is the sire of Royolyns Ice Sculpture "Thorn". The quality produced from these males have become the signature of quality at Royolyn, and we are most proud.
